Thank you for purchasing your Katzkin kit from ShopSAR.com. Katzkin Leather, Inc. (KATZKIN) guarantees their upholstery kits to be free from defects in workmanship and material, when properly installed and cared for under normal conditions, for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. If you discover an issue with your KATZKIN kit purchased from ShopSAR.com during the KATZKIN warranty period, please contact us immediately at 1-888-490-7727 and/or submit the issue via email to [email protected]. Please describe the issue and its location in detail as well as attach at least two photos in support of your comments. One image should be a close-up of the issue and a second should be a full view image of the part in question with the issue visible. ShopSAR.com will then submit your claim directly to Katzkin for warranty review. The best part is that most claims are resolved within one business day.
This Limited Warranty does not apply to unauthorized repairs or alterations, faulty installation, abuse or accident. This warranty does not apply to claims for abrasions, scuffs, cuts, scratches, or abusive and excessive wear. Please read the complete recommended care and cleaning instructions. The use of any cleaning or disinfecting products listed in the instructions as “Do Not Use” will void this warranty.

Any product installed in a vehicle used for commercial purposes or when the loss has been found to be caused by misuse, neglect, abuse, wear and tear, improper installation or maintenance, improper or unauthorized repair, alteration, or accident. KATZKIN will make such finding in its sole discretion.

Abrasions, scuffs, cuts, scratches, or similar excessive wear. Normal wear is not a defect in material or workmanship. KATZKIN will not be held responsible for color dye lot variations.

Blue Dye Transfer: Some clothing items (such as dark blue jeans) contain dyes which may transfer to lighter color upholstery surfaces, including lighter color automotive leathers. This dye transfer occurs naturally over time and does not reflect a defect in the finish of Katzkin interior materials. If you are concerned about the possibility of blue dye transfer, we recommend that you consider a darker color for your leather interior.

The application of silicone-based products or harsh chemicals that can damage and destroy the surface of your interior will void this warranty. Please read the complete CARE AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS for a list of products that should not be used on Katzkin leather interiors.
INTERIOR CARE AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Our materials have received a protective treatment during the manufacturing process, which will protect the surface from the soiling and staining of everyday use throughout the life of your Katzkin interior. If necessary, we recommend the following procedures for cleaning:
For Spots and Spills: Blot any excess liquid immediately with a clean absorbent cloth or sponge. If necessary, use clear, lukewarm water and dry with a clean towel and then air dry. Do not dry wet areas with heat dryers, hair dryers, etc. as this will damage the material.
For Stubborn Spots and Stains: Use a mild solution of Ivory bar soap (not dishwashing liquid) and clear, lukewarm water. Apply the soap to a clean, wet sponge and blot the affected area. Do not apply force or pressure, as the heat and friction of rubbing will damage the surface over time. Rinse and allow to air dry naturally.
For Disinfecting: Katzkin recommends using only botanical-based disinfectants on vehicle seating surfaces used in accordance with the directions on the product label. Alcohol or ammonium-based disinfectants could damage your interior when used consistently over time.
Do Not Use: Saddle soaps, oils, abrasives, cleaners containing detergent (such as dishwashing liquids), solvents (mineral spirits), any products containing alcohol (hand sanitizers), household disinfecting sprays or wipes, varnish, ammonia water or any products containing bleach, as these types of cleaners will cause damage to the protective top coat of the interior and use of listed products may void your warranty.
SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY
Any KATZKIN part found to have a non-conformity in material or workmanship, KATZKIN will either repair or replace the non-conforming part at its sole discretion. This is the sole and exclusive remedy under this Limited Warranty.
KATZKIN reserves the right to alter, modify, or discontinue products without any obligation in regard to products previously offered.
